Hi everyone,

I am trying to write a small simulation using mason, but am a bit
puzzled by the apparent lack of any mention of probability
distributions. In other words, there are events I would like to
schedule with gamma, exponential or other probability distributions,
but there's no mention of it on the list or in the documentation.
There are 3rd party libraries which do this (at least for some
distributions: I've yet to find a gamma distribution generator), but
it feels like such a core simulation concept that I'm surprised it's
not a part of every simulation package.
My question, therefore, is: how do you generate events according to,
say, a gamma probability distribution?

Cheers,
Tomislav
