Subject: NIH Data Science Internship

Dr Diao,

This may be of interest to some of the students in our department.
NIH is accepting applications for the second year of the Graduate Data Science Summer Program (GDSSP).

I participated in the GDSSP this past summer, which was the first year the program ran. It was an incredible opportunity. I was able to extend my grant and continue my research through December, which allowed me to go much more in depth with my project.

Best,
Igor Semyonov
