If you are a Spring 2023 graduate and you have not already applied to graduate, this is your final reminder to do so TODAY. The online graduation application will be deactivated tomorrow.

Important Reminders for Spring 2023 Graduation:


  *   Instructions on how to apply to graduate: https://registrar.gmu.edu/students/graduation/process/



  *   Spring 2023 Commencement - There are two celebratory activities available to May 2023 graduates.
     *   University Commencement - This is the larger university-wide graduation event. It will be held on May 18th, 2023 and information about the event is here: https://www.gmu.edu/graduation. Please refer to that website for the most up-to-date event information.
     *   Degree Celebration - CEC will be holding a Degree Celebration just for CEC students. This will be held on a different day from Commencement this year May 19th, 2023. Information about that event is here: https://www.gmu.edu/graduation-home/degree-celebrations



  *   Timelines related to graduation: https://registrar.gmu.edu/students/graduation/timelines/

If you are not certain if you've applied already, please look at your Degree Works<https://registrar.gmu.edu/students/degree-evaluation/degree-works/> evaluation and check if your 'Graduation Status' is showing as 'Filed' at the top of the screen. This usually takes 24 hours to update, so don't worry if it doesn't change right away.
