Dear George Mason Statistics and Data Analytics departments –

I’m writing to invite graduate students from your departments to a DataFest on October 25-27, hosted and sponsored by the McChrystal Group. The McChrystal group is a boutique organizational consultancy in Old Town Alexandria, VA. We help organizations improve their internal communications structure, their decision-making frameworks, and help them align on strategies and initiatives. We’re looking to bring in teams of local statistics, data science, and social science graduate students to use our real-world organizational data to create actionable insights about client problem sets. The DataFest will be a competition format, with $5,000 in prize money divided among the winning teams.
