Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division in Maryland, is attempting to hire a control systems engineer or two. They are interested in interviewing masters or, preferably, doctoral students with a control systems concentration who are graduating either in December or next June and are US citizens. The position they are seeking to fill centers on designing automatic control and estimation algorithms for manned and  unmanned submarines as well doing advanced research in those areas. A background check and eligibility for a Department of Defense secret clearance are necessary.
