Connecting Your Past and Future: Charting a History Career

How can you find a career which draws on your skills and interests? Join us at the National Museum of American History on Friday, October 30, 2015 for an all-day career workshop for graduate students in history. Meet historians working in the Washington DC area; learn how to identify a career path which reflects your skills and passions; and develop the skills you will need to market yourself to employers in and outside the academy!

You can find a schedule for the event and register for the workshop here:https://netforum.avectra.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=NCPH&WebCode=EventReg&evt_key=41ff70e8-e54a-4e84-bf6e-7439c0982365

Lunch will be provided at the workshop and we encourage participants to join us for a happy hour after the workshop.

The event, which is co-sponsored by the American Historical Association, the Organization of American Historians, and the National Council on Public History, is intended for historians of both American and non-American history. Please note that space for this workshop is limited and we recommend that you register soon if you wish to attend.

If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact Lexi Lord at 202-633-0885 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

We hope to see you on October 30th!
