From 1 to 2pm on Wednesday Sep 8, the Modern History Workshop will hold its first meeting of the year to discuss Laura Díaz-Esteve’s “This Part of the World Does Know:” the British Pacific Press’ reaction to the Spanish-American War.”  (Laura is a Doctoral student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, visiting us as a Fulbright scholar this semester.)

As a reminder, there are no formal presentations for this workshop, so please read the attached paper before – we’ll jump straight into discussion.  Zoom link below.  All are welcome – hope to see many of you there!
