Graduation Reception

Friday, May 17th

12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Johnson Center, The Bistro (Ground Floor)





May 17th is going to be quite a full day of graduation festivities for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences!  CHSS students and their families are encouraged to attend the big University Commencement ceremony at 10:00 a.m. that morning and then the CHSS Degree Celebration at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. (The CHSS Degree Celebration is where graduating students have their names read as they cross the stage, are congratulated by the dean and department chair, and have their pictures taken by a professional photographer.)



We hope you and your family can stop by for a short respite in between the two events to enjoy substantial casual fare and lively conversation, while allowing us the opportunity to wish you well.



Please note that this invitation extends to all Spring 2019, Summer 2019, and Fall 2019 graduates.
