Dear all,

Next Monday (Apr 27), from 5:30 to 6:15 or so, the PhD colloquium will be discussing Greta Swain’s prospectus:” Potomac Networks: Space, Place, and Waterways of George Mason’s Extended Family, 1700-1825.” We’ll be meeting using blackboard collaborate ultra, and all are welcome.  If you’d like to attend, please just email me and I’ll send you a link to the session, as well as a copy of Greta’s prospectus to read in advance.

Also, on May 4 we’ll be discussing two more prospectuses (those of LaQuanda Walters Cooper and Laura Crossley) – if you want to save the date.  I’ll send more details about those sessions in a week or so.
