Subject: Monday: brown bag on directing PhD students

Please come to the brown bag this MONDAY (9/24) at NOON in the conference room (Rob B 333). We will discuss strategies for faculty directing PhD students. We encourage all faculty to attend and share your experiences.

The rest of the semester schedule is below:


Monday, September 24: Sam Lebovic will lead a discussion about faculty directing PhD students.

Wednesday, October 24: Rosie Zagarri will present “Mixed-Race Children in George Washington's World.”

Tuesday, November 6: Matt Karush and Mike O’Malley will present their digital project “Hearing the Americas.”

Wednesday, November 28: Suzy Smith will lead a discussion on online teaching.
