Greetings,
     The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is seeking a qualified individual to individual to perform professional services, on a contract basis, managing programming related to NMAAHC support of National History Day. A contract will be awarded for an hourly rate after selection on a best value basis. The selected individual will act as the NHD Resource Educator.

The NHD Resource Educator creates resources and designs programs to support students and their adults on the National History Day journey.  The NHD Resource Educator relays pertinent historical and cultural information about African American history and culture as well as collection connections from NMAAHC. They should be a vibrant and dedicated individual wishing to make significant contributions to the National Museum of African American History and Culture's museum mission. Qualified individuals should be able to present in their resumes enthusiasm and interest in American history, African American history, presentation skills, instructional design experience and strong education skills.

The NHD Resource Educator is a contractor, delivering professional services; this is not a permanent staff position at the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
