George Mason University has been selected by the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission of the General Assembly to host a 2014 Signature Conference, "Civil War in Global Context" here at George Mason University. http://www.virginiacivilwar.org/

The conference is an all-day event scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Center for the Arts. It is open to the public. Provost and historian Peter N. Stearns will moderate several panels of scholars.

We have been asked to identify six graduate students to assist with the Q&A portion of the program. Students will collect and review questions submitted by the audience, and select appropriate questions for the panels.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Susan Woodruff, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by March 7, 2014.

Thank you,
Susan Woodruff
