Good morning GMU Patriots,

I am writing to invite you to apply to attend the Summer Guild<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdc.breakthroughtech.org%2Fprograms%2Fguild-mason%2F&data=04%7C01%7Cbis%40gmu.edu%7C8f72624d43ac4a8d8f7308da1188343c%7C9e857255df574c47a0c00546460380cb%7C0%7C0%7C637841574372507285%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=C%2BMKTg2zZHFBBiNvlr2%2FhVREvW%2BiMpr9BLR%2BuQ4MOMc%3D&reserved=0> program at Mason from June 6th- June 10th, 2022. The Guild program is designed to inspire more women to take an introductory computing course and consider majoring or minoring in computer science or related majors. It is a paid 1-week workshop designed for incoming students and underclassmen to help them gain hands-on experience with coding, digital product development, and technology creation through the lens of a “real world challenge”.

If you are curious about technology and want to join a supportive community of women who are also exploring tech, try Guild. You will have the chance to work in teams with other students to develop a tech-based solution to a problem that matters in your community.

When: June 6 – June 10, 2022
