The College of Science has learned of an interesting opportunity for 20 of our students to participate in a Bioscience networking event on Fri., 10/28 at the INOVA Fairfax campus on Gallows Rd. The Dulles Chamber of Commerce, the event sponsor, is waiving the $65 fee for each of these twenty participants. Topics include cancer research, personalized medicine and bioinformatics.

It will be held at the new Inova Center for Personalized Medicine, 3225 Gallows Road, Fairfax.  Governor McAuliffe and Congresswoman Comstock will offer the opening keynote addresses.

Since it is first come, first served please email Tracy Mason, COS Assistant Dean, Strategic Communications,  [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>  by Wednesday, October 26 so she can submit your name to the Chamber of Commerce to add to the registration list with the fee waiver for this event.  You must be able to attend on Friday 10/28 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Details are in the link below.
