Subject: LANL Internship

Wendell,

Happy Holidays. Hope you are well.

Could you share some internship opportunities with your students?

I’m leading a robotics and automation summer school at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) for undergraduate and early graduate students. I’d appreciate it if you could send the information out to students as you see fit. The attached brochure has the program details. The program is a 10 week internship that starts June 5, 2023 (quarter students can start late). The students will work in teams of three to complete a automation or robotics project that will result in a published paper. The internship will provide technical classes and lectures, LANL facility tours, and professional development activities.

The application requires submission of a resume, cover letter, transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. Applications are due January 9, 2023.

Feel free to share my contact information with any students that are interested in working at LANL, either as an intern or permanent position.

Thanks,

Beth
