Subject: Science and Engineering Fair Judges Needed for TJHSST
Greetings Computer Science and Engineering Leaders at GMU,
We are seeking graduate students and professionals in computer science and engineering to be judges at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Science and Engineering Fair to be held on the TJHSST campus on Saturday,
February 4, 2023. TJHSST is a Virginia Governor’s School for Science and Technology, serving students across Northern Virginia with advanced curriculum in mathematics, science, computer science, and technology. Our students do university-level research projects
throughout the year and enter the fair to receive feedback from knowledgeable professionals like you. We are particularly looking for expertise in machine learning, image processing, embedded systems, engineering, and bioinformatics. Outstanding projects will
advance to the Fairfax Regional Science and Engineering Fair and then to the International Science and Engineering Fair.
Would you please forward this information through your appropriate student organization and departmental channels to let the GMU community know about this opportunity to judge? Interested individuals should fill out
this form or contact me directly for further information.
Thank you very much for supporting our students,
Kathy Phillips
