Dear Faculty and Staff, 

The Office of Diversity, Outreach, and Inclusive Learning (DOIL)  is reaching out to remind those of you serving as Equity Champions on upcoming search committees to register for the College of Engineering and Computing’s (CEC) Equity Training being held in person on  November 8 from 1:30 am – 3:00 pm in the Dean’s Conference Room on the 5^th floor of the Nguyen Engineering Building.

Please note this is a required training for Equity Champions. As your Departments and Units begin their search committees, which asks faculty and staff to play a central role in the recruitment and hiring of the College’s academic and administrative talent, CEC aims to provide training that will lead to search committees where each member works toward understanding how their function can lead to a more inclusive and equitable hiring process.
