Rios Partners, a management consulting firm to commercial, non-profit, and government clients, is seeking to fill 5-10 positions.  Several positions in June and then more positions through the summer.  They are requesting that students should submit their resume to me so I can collect them all as a Resume Book.  Based on my conversations with their recruiter, they are specifically interested in students/recent graduates from the MPA, MPP and ODKM programs.

Rios Partners is hiring for the Analyst/ Senior Analyst and Consultant/ Senior Consultant role!

Who is Rios Partners?

• Rios Partners is a mission-driven strategy consulting firm located in Arlington, VA. Our team is comprised of 100 individuals from diverse professional backgrounds who bring their unique perspectives and skillsets to solve our clients’ most complex challenges.

Which role will I be considered for?

• Analyst: Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree
• Senior Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years professional experience OR Master’s with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience AND at least 2 years relevant experience
• Consultant: Bachelor’s with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Master’s/PhD with a minimum of 5 years professional experience AND at least 5 years relevant experience
• Senior Consultant: Bachelor’s with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience or Master's/ PhD with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience AND 5 years relevant experience (including 2 years of commercial strategy consulting and 2 years team management)

What does the Rios Partners recruitment process look like?

• Application: Submit application at the Rios Partners Career Site.
• Phone Screen: Candidates with relevant experience will be invited to discuss background and motivation during a 30-minute phone screen.
• Case Interview: Candidates successful during the phone screen will invited to participate in a case interview. Two days (48 hours) before the scheduled case interview, candidates will receive a set of case materials which includes a prompt and an Excel dataset. Applicants must prepare a presentation communicating findings and recommendations and return it to Rios after 24 hours. Candidates report spending anywhere from 3-6 hours to prepare materials (varies based on technical training and professional background).

What is the deadline for application?

• Candidates may submit applications at any time; Rios is hiring on an ongoing basis throughout Summer 2022.
• The recruitment process from application to case interview takes 4-6 weeks.
