Movement Well-Being Workshop
Mason students, faculty, and staff, take a well-being break to enjoy a movement-based workshop, co-hosted by
our center and Mason’s Center for the Arts! The Every Body Move workshop
utilizes movement styles found in African and Black social dance. Its aim is to nurture participants, spur creativity and self-expression, promote health, well-being, and body positivity, and build a sense of community through movement and dance.

Biomedical/Computational Research Opportunity in NYC

FDA CDRH Summer 2022 Research Participation
Program – ORISE
Participants will have an opportunity to gain a hands-on research experience on a variety of regulatory research projects related to CDRH’s mission. The program is designed for participants to engage with an expert mentor or mentors during the summer to examine
a question of interest related to those projects within the placement office.

BioHealth Innovation (BHI) is an innovation intermediary that facilitates the commercialization of emerging technologies in the BioHealth Capital Region
(Maryland, DC and Virginia). We are seeking a masters or PhD graduate students to join our team remotely as an
Analyst Intern.
Compensation: $15-20/hr
Duration: 20 hr/week for twelve weeks during June, July, and August
Responsibilities:

Assist with evaluating technologies

Perform market research and assist with go-to-market strategies for start-up companies

Perform scientific literature and competitive analysis to identify commercial applications and determine commercial potential

Elena’s Scholarships for Student Well-Being
Elena Prien, a graduate of George Mason University, endowed undergraduate student scholarships with the goal of enhancing students’ well-being. These scholarships
will be awarded to students whose lives can benefit from resources to support their well-being in various domains (psychological, emotional, social, purpose, community, and physical, as a few examples). Elena’s Scholarships are open to full-time, undergraduate
students from all academic majors. Priority will be given to applicants who are just beginning their intentional efforts to cultivate well-being. This is a program for personal well-being mentoring, plus a financial scholarship. Applicants should be willing
and able to participate in one-on-one mentoring with a faculty or staff person who has expertise about well-being. Mentoring will take place about once every three weeks during Fall semester and then monthly during Spring semester.

Simulation Technician Sr.
Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is currently seeking a Sr. Simulation Technician to support the Inova Center for Advanced Medical Simulation
(ICAMS). The successful incumbent will integrate, maintain, and operate the simulation computer and audio/visual technology, including the mannequins and the surrounding equipment. Other responsibilities will include troubleshooting any malfunctions in low-fidelity
and high-fidelity medical simulation training and audio/visual equipment, ensure the equipment is appropriately inventoried and maintained, as well as assists in the day-to-day operation of the Inova Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (ICAMS).

Job responsibilities:
