Inova Summer Student Research Grants
The Office of Research at Inova (ORI) and the Grants Management Office (GMO) is pleased to announce that we are now accepting
applications for the 2022 Inova Summer Student Research Grants.
Inova-affiliated Investigator Required for Sponsorship: Dr. Mahesh Shenai is a physician in neurosurgery at Inova, a member of our Alliance, and a co-instructor
for BENG 314/514. He is willing to sponsor a student with an existing research project that would benefit from funding or to work with an interested student to develop a new research project for funding through the seed grant program at INOVA. Dr. Shenai is
also willing to discuss ideas proposed by students.

FDA CDRH Summer 2022 Research Participation
Program – ORISE
Participants will have an opportunity to gain a hands-on research experience on a variety of regulatory research projects related to CDRH’s mission. The program is designed for participants to engage with an expert mentor or mentors during the summer to examine
a question of interest related to those projects within the placement office.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend commensurate with educational level and experience.

Particle Chemistry Intern –Assist a Senior Chemist doing research and development
work in hydrogel particle synthesis and characterization.
Minimum Requirements: Rising senior or graduate student with at least
