Good afternoon! I'm Michelle and I represent SEOR for the Graduate Student Assembly.
The assembly would like to ask feedback from graduate students about the following information:
The Graduate Education Task Force presented a report on potential major changes to the structure of graduate education at Mason. Put simply, the general idea is that we could centralize some graduate education resources at Mason to allow for better economy
of scale and more widespread availability of services for graduate students. Their draft report is available at the link below. Please review this report and converse with your fellow students, whether informally or formally, to get their feedback! It is vital
for the team to hear from the student perspective to see how these changes might impact graduate student life. A core question to ask is, “Will increased centralized resources help make the graduate student experience easier?” All feedback should be submitted
by November 5.
It would be great if this is sent out to SEOR graduate students.
