The CEC Peer Mentor Center is Open for Virtual Tutoring
For the Fall semester, all peer mentoring will be by virtual drop-in. The CEC Peer Mentor Center is available to engineering and computing students looking for tutoring or guidance in lower-level engineering and computing courses and concepts. ISE & City of Fairfax Hiring Two Undergrad Research Assistant

Deadline: Tuesday, September 28, 2021 via Handshake

Wage: $12/hr

Hours: 10-15 hours/week

In partnership with the City of Fairfax’s Office of Sustainability, two research assistantships are currently open in the areas of green building and waste reduction and recycling. Students will gain valuable research experience and must for Federal Work Study eligible.

Research Assistant: Green Building Policy (Job ID #5308705): Conduct research to assist the City of Fairfax with developing a green building policy that establishes green building standards and incentives for both private and public sector construction and major renovations.

Research Assistant: Waste Reduction and Recycling (Job ID #5308856): Assist with research and outreach activities related to the City of Fairfax’s waste reduction, solid waste, recycling and composting programs.
