Scholarships
Katona Scholarship for Excellence in Bioengineering:
The Katona Scholarship for Excellence in Bioengineering is available to rising seniors with a declared major in Bioengineering at George Mason University. Rising seniors means Spring/Summer or Fall 2022 graduation
date. This Scholarship is open to Bioengineering students pursuing any concentration within the degree program. Students selected for the scholarship have demonstrated strong academic performance, professional leadership within the university or outside, and
exceptional promise for a successful bioengineering career that would benefit society. Selection of the scholarship awardee may be based entirely on merit, however, a compelling financial need will also be considered. The annual Katona Scholarship award levels
may vary from year-to-year but it is expected to be no less than $1,000.00.
To be considered, interested students should complete form sent via email last week and today and submit it electronically to Ms. Claudia Borke
