On behalf of University Dissertation & Thesis Services (UDTS), I would like to welcome you to the Fall 2021 Semester.

If you are a Master's student writing a thesis* or a Doctoral student writing a dissertation**, it is extremely important that you become familiar with our department and our services. UDTS is here to help you format your document correctly and submit the final version of your document and all necessary materials to our office on time, in order to ensure that you graduate in your intended semester.

We offer templates to assist you in formatting your document.

In the interest of public health, all of our services (including Format Reviews and Final Submissions) are conducted virtually. Furthermore:

  • We conduct online workshops: one session explains the process you must complete in order to graduate on time, and the other teaches you to use our Word template
  • You can meet with us if you have questions or need technical assistance with our Word template. To set up a virtual meeting, please visit our LibCal Scheduler

If you are planning to graduate in Fall 2021, please be aware of the following extremely important deadlines:

Fall 2021 Format Review Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29. In order to remain eligible to graduate in Fall 2021, you must receive an email from our office on or by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29 stating that your formatting is correct, and your Format Review is over.

Fall 2021 Final Submission Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3. In order to remain eligible to graduate in Fall 2021, you must turn in the final copy of your thesis/dissertation and all necessary materials to our office on or by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3. By "final copy," we are referring to the version of your document that fulfills all of the following criteria:

  1. The document has passed the Format Review.
  2. You have successfully defended (if a Defense is a requirement for your degree/discipline).
  3. Your committee has approved the document's content.

If you have any questions or need any further information about UDTS and our services, please email us: [log in to unmask]We look forward to working with you.

All the best,

Sally
