Dear SIS students,

The Institute for a Sustainable Earth (ISE) is currently hiring two undergraduate research assistants to aid in work that the City of Fairfax’s Office of Sustainability is doing in the areas of green building and waste reduction and recycling. Both positions are overseen by the City in partnership with the ISE, and students will gain valuable research experience while earning $12/hour (10-15 hours a week, negotiable). Please forward the announcements (below) to any student you feel may be interested in applying. As these positions are supported through Mason’s signature OSCAR program, successful candidates will need to be Federal Work Study eligible.

Applications must be submitted through Handshake by September 28. I’m happy to answer any questions about the positions, and really appreciate that you are helping spread the word!

Many thanks,

Jeremy
