LECTURER POSITIONS

The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for two non-tenure track faculty positions in the Lecturer track (rank commensurate with level of experience and title contingent on degree of the candidate).

The lecturer will be responsible for teaching and curriculum support in the area of industrial engineering. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Teaching 3 class sections in each of the fall and spring semesters and two sections in the summer semester. These may include classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Candidates are expected to adopt innovative educational practices as they develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Assist with development and management of the school's curriculum.
  • Contribute to local and external service activities.

We are especially interested in candidates with expertise and strong teaching interests in analytics/machine learning; data science/statistics; optimization; applied probability/ simulation; and industrial engineering applications.
