Laura Bassi Scholarship Summer 2021 Funding The Laura Bassi Scholarship, which awards a total of $8,000 thrice per annum provides editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, is now accepting applications for the next round of funding. All currently enrolled master’s and doctoral candidates are eligible, as are academics in the first five years of full-time employment. Winners will be notified on Friday, August 20. Pedagogy Development Opportunity The Stearns Center will offer several workshops via Zoom during July for the Level 1 Essentials Credential for its Continuing Professional Development Program. These systems analyze resumes to find candidates that best match the position, but qualified applicants slip through the cracks. The main reason resumes get rejected is for not highlighting relevant skills and experience using the right keywords.
