Michael Jordan– Systems Engineer

• Systems Engineer with SPEC Innovations: Supporting contracts such as Missile Defense & Autonomous Guided Vehicles as an consultant and support.
• Utilizing the model-based systems engineering software tool; Innoslate
• Graduated from GMU VSE in 2019 with SEOR BS
• Concentration in Data Analytics

              Green-belt Six Sigma Recipient

 

 

Matt Herman – Systems Engineer, PMP

 

• Senior Systems Engineer with Serco (previously with Alion) as a DoD contractor: Supporting NAVSEA HQ as an engineering manager for the new COLUMBIA Class submarine Electric Propulsion Drive System
• Graduated from GMU VSE in 2019 with SEOR BS
• Previously attended NOVA for Electrical Engineering
• Previously attended Rutgers University for Materials Science & Engineering
• Served as a nuclear electronics technician and reactor operator on the USS COLUMBIA (SSN 771)

 

 

Jay Deorukhkar

 

• Jay Deorukhkar is a Master's student at George Mason University pursuing Computer Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems and Space Systems. He received his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from GMU in 2019. He is one of the founding members of the Satellite Communications Club at GMU. Currently, Jay and the SatCom club are working on several projects, including a ground station at GMU and testing equipment for CubeSats. Aside from academia, he is serving as a Board Member for the Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) Mid-Atlantic chapter.
