I know that this has been a difficult year for many of you; I hope the final push of the semester goes smoothly, and you all have some opportunity to relax
and unwind over the summer.
I'm writing now for two reasons. First, I
have attached two documents that list some of the many George Mason University resources available to graduate students to support your mental health and well-being. Please consider taking advantage of some of these offerings,
most of them free and many available online. Whether it's taking advantage of the activities available through the Center
for Wellbeing, addressing food insecurity, or scheduling a telehealth appointment with Counseling
and Psychological Services (CAPS), there are support services at the university to serve your needs.
Second, please don't hesitate to be in touch with me or your dissertation advisor if you would like to talk through your progress on your research or your program of study, challenges the past year has posed, or anything else. We
are here to help, and we can help brainstorm solutions and put you in touch with a variety of resources as needed.
