Dear Students,

Are you a Ph.D. or an MS student looking for a specific research or dissertation topic? Are you struggling to understand what exactly research is?

Dr. Cameron Nowzari is giving a special interactive lecture at 4:30 PM today to discuss what research is, why we do it, who does it, who benefits, who cares, etc... He will talk about the types of different research (e.g., basic vs applied) and give many different examples of both that can be understood by any engineering audience (no background in control systems is required for this lecture).

If there are any specific questions you might be interested in finding answers to please email them to him and he'll try his best to cover anything he might have missed ([log in to unmask]).

Cameron Nowzari is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
