The College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is launching the Humanities in Leadership Learning Series (HILLS) program in Fall 2021.  This program, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, enables the College to create a multi-faceted program to enhance leadership skills and opportunities for current and future humanities faculty. The program is now accepting applications for three postdoctoral positions to start August 2021:

Postdoctoral Scholars in the Humanities, Humanities in Leadership Learning Series

We are particularly interested in scholars whose research explores issues related to race and racism, ethnicity, and/or social justice within the humanities and humanities-related fields (including Anthropology and Archaeology, Area/Cultural/Ethnic/Gender Studies, Art History, Classics,  Geography and Population Studies, English, Film, Cinema and Media Studies, Musicology, Ethnomusicology and Music Theory, Foreign Languages and Literatures, History, Linguistics, Literature, Performance Studies, Philosophy, Political Theory, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Theater Studies).

The appointment is for one academic year. During that time, scholars will receive leadership mentoring on their leadership and scholarly activity, and be asked to offer one undergraduate course.  Applicants should submit by March 26 for full consideration.
