This job would be in support of the Navy’s Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271), in support of the E-6B Mercury aircraft specifically the E-XX Recap Acquisition effort. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) utilizes systems models to replace the document-centric nature of typical Systems Engineering. If you excel at digital modeling and are interested in putting your expertise to work for the Navy’s Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271), in support of the E-6B Mercury, this new position is for you. Our ideal candidate can: * Lead technical planning and execution of system modeling and simulation utilizing model-based engineering tools and practices to support enterprise systems engineering activities. * Develop descriptive system models integrating COTS, GOTS and open source analysis tools to support trade studies and analysis of alternatives as well as the evaluation of system requirements and the tracking of system technical performance measures. * Trace related analytic models and results to enterprise tools supporting requirements definition, CONOPS development, architecture design, risk analysis, scheduling, change requests and verification, validation, and test. Qualifications for Junior or Mid-level: * Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or other technical discipline * Broad Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology * Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience with UML, SysML, and related OMG Specifications for behavior modeling and simulation * Object-Oriented Design and Analysis experience either in system model development or software programming ============================ For PMA 234: AVIAN is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to work within PMA 234 on Next Generation Jammer Low Band program.
