My original email to students regarding the survey is copied below.  To date, about 10% of MPA students have responded.  As you can imagine, we are hopeful that we can improve on that response rate.  Thanks in advance for assisting us in getting a better understanding of diversity/inclusion issues in the MPA program, the Schar School, and the university more broadly.  Of course, please feel free to be in touch with any questions.

Dear MPA Student- 

The Schar School’s MPA program is committed to providing a welcoming environment for all students. An important step in creating a truly diverse and inclusive community is understanding students’ perspectives regarding their experiences in the MPA program.  

In this context, we very much hope that you will participate in this survey which is designed to help us understand your perspectives related to diversity and inclusion in the MPA program and the broader campus community. The data collected will be used to help us enhance student experience in the MPA program and the Schar School.  

Your responses will be completely confidential and will not be part of any academic, medical, employment, or disciplinary records. Results will be shared only in aggregate or summary form, and no individually identifiable information will be reported.
