Hello Dr. Sun, hoping you are doing well!
Just a quick reminder to send me your 5 free registrations! Maximize the use of your 5 free slots by having them register for the entire series, Essential Data Science for Business (EDSB), the top 10 analytics approaches of the key topics that are used in business today. This series kicks off this Wednesday, October 7, 2020 with EDSB: Data Science Workflows tutorial given by E. James Harner, PhD (West Virginia University/Interface Chairman). This first tutorial introduces data science tools supporting reproducible reports, using R markdown documents; extracting data from source systems; transforming data into a tidy form; loading data into a relational database; unsupervised learning methods, such as clustering and dimension reduction; and methods for analyzing streaming data. Affiliates may register five members of their department, students, or faculty, who can participate at no cost. Having each person register for all 10 helps if you cannot make one/a few sessions as your registration will give you access to all of the sessions as they get posted.
How do I take advantage of this offer? Simply send an email to [log in to unmask] with the full name and email address (please use .edu email to register) of your 5 free registrants. After you hit send, you are done!
If you have more than 5 registrants interested, they can register themselves ($35 each) at this link: https://www.niss.org/event-series, 3rd series down (see event page). If someone outside of your 5 wants to register for the entire series, then see image below (go to individual page registration to see dropdown). An email containing a link to the tutorial will be emailed to each registrant a day prior to the session and one hour prior to the session. The 5 free can enjoy the entire series or just one tutorial. Above the 5, each tutorial must be signed up for individually at the specific event page.
