SPOTLIGHT:

This summer, one of our students, Allison Dockum, worked in the Tactical Electronic Warfare Division of the Naval Research Laboratory. In her section, the research focused on how to defend sensitive electronics from electronic attacks. She learned about wave theory with electromagnetics and developed a genetic optimization algorithm for the project she was working on.

Did you have an internship last summer and would like to tell us about it? Is your senior design group on the brink of making a global impact or you would like to share your lab experience here in the newsletter? Please email a short summary, picture and a confirmation for information release: [log in to unmask].
