Next Monday (May 4), from 5:30 to 7, the PhD colloquium will be discussing two prospectuses:

LaQuanda Walters Cooper, “Black Politics in Black Space: Black Industrial Fairs in North Carolina, 1879-1930”

Laura Crossley, “Asserting Native Sovereignty and Contesting Western Statehood at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition”

 

We’ll be meeting using blackboard collaborate ultra, and all are welcome.  If you’d like to attend, please just email me and I’ll send you a link to the session, as well as a copy of the prospectuses to read in advance.
