All, I have gotten additional clarification from Deb Crawford and Aurali Dade about access to research labs and facilities after 5pm tomorrow. You do not need a waiver as long as your visits to the research lab/facilities will be infrequent/intermittent in response to an unanticipated need such as rebooting a computer or picking up something you didn’t realize you would need at home. You must use proper social distancing and sanitizing practices, of course. A waiver is needed if you want to perform research in a lab/facility, spend a significant amount of time in a research lab/facility, or access a research lab/facility on a regular basis for maintenance activities such as to replenish liquid nitrogen every couple of weeks. Of course, this guidance is subject to change as the university responds to the COVID-19 emergency. Regards.
