Dear faculty and students,

You are invited to join our Webex meeting for the Teaching Seminar of our Term Faculty Candidate, Eugene Kim, on Thursday, March 26 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.  He will be speaking on:

TITLE: Pressure & Fluid Statics: A Teaching Demo on Biofluids Transport

ABSTRACT: For this teaching demo, I will be covering the topic of pressure & fluid statics, a unit commonly covered in introductory fluid mechanics courses like BENG 230: Continuum Biomechanics and Transport. Broadly speaking, the goals of this demo will be to introduce general principles in fluid statics and apply these principles to bioengineering problems and applications. The material covered will draw on a few concepts from introductory physics; however, audiences of all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome to attend.
