TITLE: Pressure & Fluid Statics: A Teaching Demo on Biofluids Transport
ABSTRACT: For this teaching demo, I will be covering the topic of pressure & fluid statics, a unit commonly covered in introductory fluid mechanics courses like BENG 230: Continuum Biomechanics and Transport. Broadly speaking, the goals of this demo
will be to introduce general principles in fluid statics and apply these principles to bioengineering problems and applications. The material covered will draw on a few concepts from introductory physics; however, audiences of all skill levels and backgrounds
are welcome to attend.
