Dear Dr. Department Professors,
We would like to inform you of various opportunities for your graduate students to become exposed to statistical methodologies in the drug development process.
The attached is an announcement of a workshop that is specifically geared to recent and upcoming graduates to help prepare them for a job in the pharmaceutical industry. This workshop will familiarize the participants with different stages of drug development and the important role that statisticians play. Participants will be introduced to topics such as: study designs, sample size and power calculations, analyzing and interpreting drug effects, handling sources of bias, and interaction with regulatory agencies. The workshop will be delivered with real-world examples and illustrated with commonly used computer software. Logecal Data Analytics has reserved a few scholarships on a first-come-first-serve basis. In addition to the workshop, Logecal Data Analytics offers internships to exceptional students who are seeking careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
