Subject: Invitation to VSE PhD student recruitment program

Dear VSE Research-Active Faculty,

The VSE Graduate Academic Affairs Office invites you to participate in the summer 2020 3DR (3-week Doctoral Recruitment) program to help you develop a steady source of top-performing PhD students in support of your research.  Both domestic and foreign student recruitment is important, of course.  The 3DR program is designed to recruit foreign PhD students.

The program aims to recruit foreign PhD students, by engaging them six months to one year before completion of their current BS or MS degrees. See the attached for a full description of the program.

There will be a 3DR information meeting next Wednesday, November 20 at 9am in the Nguyen Engineering Bldg room 2302.

In order to get ahead of the recruitment cycle and visa application wait time, faculty are invited to provide the information requested in the 3DR program description attachment by November 27 to Suddaf Ismail, Director of VSE graduate admissions.

Sincerely,

Deborah
