Subject: I-Corps Winter Cohort

All,

I'm happy to announce that we've set the date for the Winter I-Corps Short Course. The dates will be February 5th, 12th, and 19th in Exploratory Hall, room 3301. The course is open to Mason faculty, researcher and student teams to help prepare them for potential participation in national NSF I-Corps. Participants are eligible for a $3,000 I-Corps Site Grant to assist them in customer discovery. Successful faculty and research teams qualify for a $50,000 NSF I-Corps Grant.

Additionally, regional entrepreneurial teams from Mason SBDC, MEC or any other affiliation are also welcome to join. The average cohort size is 10 teams and first priority will be given to I-Corps teams. If more capacity is required we can accommodate, however.

Ali Andalibi, Josh Green and I are happy to discuss with you all any questions you have about the I-Corps Site program at Mason and the NSF I-Corps program in general. We look forward to working with a good, full cohort of Mason innovators. Teams can reach out directly to me to schedule office hours to discuss the I-Corps program or just talk about their innovation ideas.
