I'm happy to announce that the Office of the Chief Statistician of the United States here at the Office of Management and Budget just posted a job opening for a GS 12/13 statistician. Our office is a close-knit team that works with statistical agencies and
programs across government to improve the objectivity, accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of federal statistics. We also develop and maintain statistical standards and guidance, coordinate the representation of the U.S. statistical system in international
venues, and consult across OMB on statistical and methodological issues in program evaluations, regulations, and other proposed policies.
