Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you and your students to a workshop on W.E.B. Du Bois and Alain Locke, to be held on October 23 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM in the Robeson Room, Johnson Center 240A.
The workshop is organized by the departments of Philosophy and Sociology & Anthropology, and co-sponsored by African and African American Studies, Cultural Studies, Economics, History and Art History, and Women and Gender Studies.
We have an exciting roster of speakers, in five sequential sessions. The George Mason community is invited to attend one or all of the sessions. In each session, audience questions are encouraged.
We will be sending the program to your shortly. In the meantime, here is a flyer for distributing to faculty and student lists.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We will look forward to seeing you on the 23rd!
Sincerely and with best regards,
Rose Cherubin
