The GMU Office of Research Computing  (ORC) will host the highly popular, two-day XSEDE Big Data Workshop.
 
When:   October 1-2, (Tuesday & Wednesday), 11:00am – 5:00pm
Where:  Innovation Hall, room 334       

 
This workshop is presented by the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) and webcast at GMU. This workshop will introduce you to powerful technologies which make Big Data computing a reality today: tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Tensorflow. The programming exercises will use Python.  
 
Attendees will have access to PSC's Bridges Supercomputer for hands-on exercises. Please bring your own laptop in order to complete the exercises.
