Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient and former NASA mathematician Katherine G. Johnson overcame obstacles of racism and sexism, demonstrating exceptional technical leadership that launched America into space and to the moon. We are excited to recognize her for this work by naming a building on our Science and Technology Campus in her honor.
