FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) in College Park is hiring for their project "Evaluation of MinION and GRidION for bacterial genome closing using long reads sequencing". Due to the location of the position, the applicant must be a US Citizen, US Greencard holder, or have legally resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in an applicable field of study; at least (3) months of sequencing experience; and at least (2) years of active microbiology or molecular biology lab experience.
