Attached is the VSE procedure that further clarifies the university guidelines for charging effort to sponsored research in the summer.  While faculty are can charge a maximum of 2.7 months of effort to sponsored projects in the summer, the procedure identifies the other opportunity for summer funding that are available to faculty outside of sponsored research.

We are also attaching a form that we put together that we are requesting faculty to use to request their summer pay for sponsored research, indirect or administrative work efforts which will help to ensure we are complying with the requirements.
