Good Afternoon,

 

My name is Becca Keatinge and I am the current president for Mason’s Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA). Part of our mission is to represent the needs and opinions of Mason’s graduate student population to the administration, faculty, and staff. I am currently putting together a formal assembly of graduate students, with the goal of having a representative from each of Mason’s masters and doctoral programs. We understand that each program’s graduate population has different experiences and needs, and this assembly will work to better understand them. I currently sit on various groups around the institution who would benefit from a more robust understanding of graduate and professional students, including the Board of Visitors, the Alumni Association Board, Graduate Council, the Community Policing Council.

 

I am emailing you in hopes that you can identify a student in your program who would be willing to serve as the representative for their masters or doctoral program. Our first meeting will be next Monday, March 25^th from 2:00 to 3:30pm in Merten 1203. Light refreshments will be provided.
