December 13 – Outstanding Achievement Awards, 10:30 am, Dewberry Hall.

Colin Reagle, assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department is being honored with the Sustainability Hero award.


December 14 – CASBBI, 1:00 pm, ENGR 4705. The Center for Adaptive Systems for Brain-Body Interactions (CASBBI), led by Siddhartha Sikdar (bioengineering), Jim Thompson (psychology), and Lynn Gerber (health administration and policy), has been selected for base funding by a team led by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President S. David Wu. This group meets weekly.

Research News


Angelos Stavrou received $86,924 from DARPA for “Enhanced Cyber Defense by Leveraging Involuntary Analog. The anticipated funding is $1,454,051.


Robert Gallo received $25,000 from DARPA for “3D Split of Obfuscation, Authentication and Licensing (3D-SOUL).”


Correction to last week’s entry: Massimiliano Albanese received $32,104 from AFRL for “Configuration Security.” The anticipated funding is $609,611.
