Conference on Latin American History (CLAH) - Doctoral Travel Grant for Exploratory Research

Deadline: 4/8/2018

The James Scobie award funds a short, exploratory summer research trip abroad (normally four to twelve weeks) to determine the feasibility of a dissertation topic dealing with some facet of Latin American history. The funds are to be used only for international travel expenses.

 

Eligibility:

  • The applicant must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program.
  • All applicants for the Scobie Awards must be CLAH members. Non-members can join the CLAH here.

 

Award amount: Up to $1,500.
